Website hosting and access data

This website is published using OpenAI Sites and delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. When you access the website, technical data such as your IP address, date and time, requested page, browser information and related log data may be processed to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose errors.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is retained only for as long as needed for security and operational purposes, subject to the providers’ applicable retention rules.

Cookies

Cloudflare may set the strictly necessary security cookie __cf_bm to distinguish legitimate traffic from automated requests. It normally expires after approximately 30 minutes. Optional Google Analytics cookies are used only after you select “Accept analytics”. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change it at any time using “Cookie settings” on any page. Declining does not prevent you from using the website.

Aggregate page counts without cookies

We also count requests for public pages on our server, independently of your Google Analytics choice. Only the calendar day (Europe/Vienna), a predefined page path and the aggregate number of requests are stored. This counter does not set or read cookies, use browser storage, assign visitor identifiers, or store IP addresses, referral URLs, query strings, browser information or individual event timestamps. It does not identify unique visitors or connect requests into browsing histories. The anonymous daily totals are retained for long-term comparison.

Request headers are examined transiently to exclude recognizable bots and prefetch requests, then discarded by the counter. Where this technical processing involves personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate website usage (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The separate hosting and access-data processing described above still applies.

Google Analytics

If you consent, this website loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-PX35CNWG82) to measure page views, visits, referral sources and interactions. Google receives technical information about your browser and device and your interaction with the website. Analytics cookies help distinguish visits. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in this website’s configuration.

You can withdraw your choice through “Cookie settings” by selecting “Decline analytics”. This disables further Analytics collection in this browser and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this website. Previously transmitted data is not erased by this action. Data processing by Google may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area. See Google’s privacy policy for further information.

Video and external links

YouTube videos are initially replaced by a local placeholder. Only after you select “Load YouTube video” is that player loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. Loading the player connects your browser to Google/YouTube and transmits technical information such as your IP address and browser details; playback may involve further data processing. This choice applies to that player until you leave or reload the page and is separate from Analytics consent. The stream field recording is hosted directly on this website. Following links to YouTube, WhatsApp or Stripe opens the respective external service, whose privacy policy then applies.

Google AdSense

This website includes the Google AdSense script (publisher ID ca-pub-7396171872157570). The script is requested when a page loads, independently of the Google Analytics preference, so declining Analytics does not prevent this connection to Google. Google receives technical request information, such as your IP address and browser details. Any advertising or associated storage depends on Google’s configuration and applicable consent requirements. The Analytics controls on this website do not manage advertising consent.

Messages sent to contact@thebloomeffect.at are forwarded by easyname to a Gmail inbox. We process your email address, message and any information you provide in order to answer your enquiry. Depending on the enquiry, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to communications (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Correspondence is deleted when it is no longer required, unless statutory retention duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require longer storage.

International data transfers
